Placement Policy

Eligibility

  • Only students who have successfully completed their upskilling courses are eligible for placement assistance.
  • Students must have cleared all assessments and projects associated with their courses.
  • Students must register for placement assistance within the specified registration period.
  • Students must meet the minimum attendance requirement of 85% for their courses.
  • Students must have no pending disciplinary actions against them.

Disqualification

  • Students with incomplete course requirements or outstanding assessments/projects will be disqualified from placement assistance.
  • Students who do not meet the minimum attendance requirement will be disqualified.
  • Students found engaging in any form of academic dishonesty or misconduct will be disqualified.
  • Unexplained absences or repeated tardiness during placement activities can lead to disqualification from the placement process.

Registration

  • Interested students must register for placement assistance through the designated portal by the announced deadline.
  • Students must provide updated resumes and relevant documentation during registration.

Commitment

  • Once registered, students must actively participate in the placement process.
  • Students must attend all scheduled interviews and company interactions unless valid reasons are provided and approved.

 

Organization

  • Pre-placement talks will be organized by NLT Education for companies participating in the placement process.
  • Students are encouraged to attend these talks to gain insights into the companies, roles offered, and selection processes.

Attendance

  • Attendance at pre-placement talks is mandatory for registered students.
  • Students should arrive on time and remain present for the entire duration of the talks.

 

Application

  • Students can apply to companies of their choice through the placement portal.
  • Each company will have specific application deadlines and requirements, which must be adhered to.

Interview Process

  • Companies will shortlist candidates based on their applications and conduct interviews as per their schedules.
  • Students must be prepared for multiple rounds of interviews, including technical, HR, and group discussions.

Offer Acceptance

  • Students receiving job offers must inform the placement cell within the stipulated time.
  • Upon accepting an offer, students are expected to honor their commitment and not pursue other offers unless permitted by the placement cell.

 

General Guidelines

  • Students must maintain regular attendance in all placement-related activities.
  • Punctuality is critical; students should arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time for interviews and pre-placement talks.

Consequences

  • Unexplained absences or repeated tardiness may lead to disqualification from the placement process.

 

Conduct

  • Students must adhere to the highest standards of conduct during the placement process.
  • Professional behavior and respect towards company representatives and peers are mandatory.

Dress Code

  • Students must dress in formal attire for all placement activities, including pre-placement talks and interviews.

 

Re-Application

  • Students who do not secure a job offer in the initial placement phase can seek further assistance.
  • Permission for additional placement attempts will be granted based on individual cases and at the discretion of the placement cell.

Improvement Plans

  • Students may be required to undergo additional training or skill enhancement programs before being allowed further placement attempts.
